By The FirstA video is circulating online showing Republican Congressman from Louisiana Clay Higgins removing a far-left activist from a news conference outside the U.S. Capitol. The man was attempting to ask Rep. Lauren Boebert a question about her divorce as he walked toward the podium.
In the video, Higgins, a former law enforcement official, grabbed the man’s arms and pushed him back while nearly lifting him off the ground.
“Aren’t you a congressperson touching me?” the man, who’s been identified as far-left activist Jake Burdett asked Higgins.
“Yes sir. Yes sir, I am.” Higgins replied.
