Vice President Kamala Harris held “bilateral” meetings with South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the White House Friday; a job typically reserved for the President of the United States.
“At a time when our world faces increasing threats to our health, security, and climate, it is more important than ever that the United States and Korea work closely together,” said Harris.
“Across our nation, Korean-Americans are leaders in medicine, academics, business, and politics,” she added.
