White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain says President Joe Biden is close to making a decision on whether or not to seek re-election–and he expects that he will.
“The president will make that decision. I expect it shortly after the holiday,” said Klain on Monday at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council summit. “I expect the decision will be to do it.”
Joe Biden turned 80 years old in November, and is the oldest man ever to serve as President of the United States. If Biden wins in 2024, he will be 86 at the end of his second term.
