On the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Cheka, Jesse decides to do a little history lesson and how it compares to our country today. Established as the secret police of the communist party, Lenin realized that the people of Russia would need a little bit of a “push” to accept their new ideology, and hence, the Cheka would carry out the dirty work of kill quotas and torture. But such oppression and submission to the government couldn’t happen in America today, could it?
