This week marks a year since the tragic withdrawal from Afghanistan after a directionless 20 years of war. Jesse doesn’t have any big adjectives or thought-provoking implications for this reflection. Instead, as Jesse simply put it, we won’t forget the sacrifices of thousands of brave American soldiers who fought for greedy and war-hungry politicians. May God Rest Their Souls.
