Curtis Houck of Media Research Center believes Donald Trump’s presidency did a great job exposing the lack of professionalism within the media. Trump was able to so smoothly navigate against the industry because he was a smart man with decades of experience and knowledge of the country’s inner workings. Much of the Trump Derangement also came from the fact he used to be a Liberal New Yorker, in other words, just like them. Houck claims there was genuine resentment because he had beaten them at their own game.
