The President of FINA, the organization that oversees international aquatic sports, announces new rules restricting the participation of trans swimmers in Olympic and National events. He went on to explain that this rule should have been implemented quite some time ago, but with the outcry from women swimmers over the impact that Lia Thomas has been making FINA was left with no choice but to act.
