Bryan Dean Wright breaks down the numbers when it comes to the weapons and the wads of cash we’re sending overseas. First, over $13 billion of the $45 billion will pay for the salaries of government workers to keep their economy ticking and the war machine rolling. Money aside though, BDW says the Ukrainians are running into technical issues and aren’t actually able to repair a lot of the weapons we sent. The kicker? The US has only accounted for about 10% of all the weapons we’ve sent to Ukraine, so fingers crossed they don’t end up in the wrong hands.
