By The FirstNew surveillance video from January 6th obtained exclusively by Fox News’ Tucker Carlson shows Jacob Chansley, aka the QAnon Shaman, was escorted through the halls of the capitol for nearly the entire time he was in the building. The footage raises new questions about why the Capitol Police appeared to cooperate with demonstrators during the January 6th riot.
The footage first aired on Tucker Carlson’s Fox News show Monday night:
“Virtually every moment of his time inside the Capitol was caught on tape,” says Carlson, who was granted exclusive access by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to 40,000 hours of surveillance footage from that day inside and around the Capitol, which has never been seen before by the public.
“The tapes show the Capitol Police never stopped Jacob Chansley. They helped him. They acted as his tour guides.”
In addition to the new details about the QAnon Shaman, the footage reviewed by Carlson and his staff led to a number of other revelations including a brazen attempt by the January 6th committee to humiliate Missouri Senator Josh Hawley.
