MSNBC host Andrea Mitchell engages in some language manipulation in real time, scolding Senior Capitol Hill Correspondent Garrett Haake for using the term “pro-life” to describe a Democrat who recently voted in favor of the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
Watch the Mitchell scold Haake below:
“At the end of the day she was, as she described herself, pro-life and she felt it was important to vote for these measures despite their potentially politically damaging–or politically unappealing, uh, appearance if you will for uh future–” Haake said before being interrupted.
“Let me just interrupt and say that pro-life is a term that they—an entire group wants to use, but that’s not an accurate description,” Mitchell interjected.
“I’m using it because it’s the term she used to describe herself,” Haake responded.
