By The FirstWhite House Press Secretary Jen Psaki tacitly admitted Tuesday the Biden administration continues to complete some sections of the border wall despite labeling the entire operation “racist” during the 2020 General Election.
“The DHS Secretary is reportedly looking to finish some gaps in the southern border. How does that fit with President Biden’s Day One Executive Order to stop border wall construction?” asked one reporter.
“Construction remains paused to the extent permitted by law,” said Psaki. “Some has already been funded… It’s paused while agencies are developing plans for the President.”
“It is paused, there is some limited construction that’s been funded and allocated for, but it’s been otherwise paused,” she added.
