By The FirstDr. Anthony Fauci told America’s parents their children should still mask-up when playing outside Wednesday because they remain “at risk” until they are fully vaccinated.
“When are kids going to be able to take off their masks and play outside at the playground?” asked a reporter with NBC News.
“Kids will ultimately wind up getting vaccinated, but you want to have some activity in that direction before they do,” said Fauci.
“Children of any age will likely be vaccinated by the time we get to the end of the year. When children are out in the community, when you have 30 or 40,000 new infections each day, they can’t get vaccinated now. For that reason they’re more at risk,” he added.
