President Biden upended Donald Trump’s foreign policy agenda for the Middle East during his trip to Israel Friday, saying Palestinians “deserve a state of their own.”

“My commitment to that goal of a two-state solution has not changed. […] The Palestinian people deserve a state of their own that’s independent, sovereign, viable and contiguous,” said Biden.
