Mike Slater invited Lawrence Reed, President of the Foundation for Economic Education (FEE), onto his show Tuesday to debunk the claim.
“There’s nothing about what Jesus taught that was sympathetic to the ethics or principles of socialism,” Reed said.
The author and historian cites Jesus’ parable of the talents to reinforce his argument, a story in which he entrusts three men with part of his estate. The way he responded to their use of the wealth is all the answer you need.
