By The FirstWhite House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was pressed Wednesday after the Biden administration fired several employees for the past consumption of cannabis despite the Vice President’s admission she herself was a former marijuana consumer.
“Kamala Harris said she’s a past Marijuana smoker… Yet, last week there were dozens of staffers who were disciplined or terminated for past marijuana use. Why would President Biden allow this to happen?” asked one reporter.
“What we tried to do as an administration was work with the security service that makes these determinations about suitability for serving in government,” said the Press Secretary.
