THE CN-END? CNN Ratings Fall Off a Cliff, Just 500,000 Average Prime Time Viewers

It’s looking bad for CNN —real bad.

New CNN head honcho Chris Licht has barely been around a month and he’s already dealing with record low ratings. According to a report from the Daily Wire, the network that Ted Turner built is averaging about 500,000 viewers during prime time.

Meanwhile, things are looking quite a bit better for the network’s competitors.

From the Daily Wire…

Fox News, a right-leaning competitor, brought in nearly five times CNN’s numbers, averaging 2.57 million viewers across prime time.

Liberal MSNBC crushed CNN, too, more than doubling the network with an average of 1.18 million total prime time viewers.

“‘Anderson Cooper 360,’ which was guest hosted by John Berman, led CNN on Wednesday with 637,000 total viewers at 8 p.m.,” the Mediaite reports, noting that “Tucker Carlson led the time slot with 3.14 million total viewers, while Chris Hayes landed in second place with 1.21 million total viewers.”
