By The FirstRep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) came to the defense of former President and fellow New Yorker Donald Trump on Wednesday after Attorney General Letitia James announced a lawsuit against Trump and his children.
Stefanik shared her statement on Twitter:
“Tish James has been on a deranged, anti-Trump mission since even before she became Attorney General. This is just another chapter of the illegitimate witch hunt against President Trump. Corrupt Tish James is down 2 points in the latest independent poll from the Trafalgar Group against Republican Michael Henry. Republicans are going to surge to victory across New York because hard-working New Yorkers are tired of corrupt Albany Democrats putting their own deranged anti-Trump obsession ahead of supporting law and order.”
