Tough to watch, total abuse of power. These police officers were completely in the wrong in the way they went about trying to restrain Tyre Nichols. Why couldn’t 5 grown men, who are trained police officers, able to restrain 1 victim after a traffic stop?
At what point are police justified to use lethal force? There is nothing about the Tyre Nichols case that suggests he was any threat and deserved to die. The abuse of power in the case is sickening.
It never does take long for the left to politicize violent events. We now have Black activists on Instagram and Twitter deeming “Whiteness” an ideology. The left declared the violence against Tyre Nichols as racist even though the police officers involved where black. Why? Because they say that the rules based around police enforcement is inherently racist. No matter the color of the cop, any crime from a police officer is now considered racist from the left. Where will these people stop?
No police officer in any state is taught to abuse their powers. Lethal force is called for in the proper situation if absolutely needed. So why did these police officers abuse their powers while trying to restrain Tyre? Lack of training, or complete disregard for the victim’s life?
