Congressman Adam Schiff faced a brutal backlash on social media Monday after bragging that the Democrats have passed $3.8 TRILLION in new spending since Joe Biden’s inauguration in January 2021.
“Democrats have passed: An anti-inflation bill A $1.9 trillion rescue deal A $1.2 trillion infrastructure plan And gun reforms Now we’re gearing up to secure: Lower prescription drug costs Billions in climate investments ACA subsidies And ensuring corporations pay a fair share,” posted the legislator on Twitter.
“My father used to say that a job was about a lot more than a paycheck. It was about your dignity, your respect, your place in the community. It was about being able to look your child in the eye and say it was going to be okay. That’s the economy I’m determined to build,” added President Biden shortly after the vote.
