MTG went there.
During a hearing a hearing House Committee on Homeland Security, Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called out the Rep. Eric Swalwell, alleging the California lawmaker had a “sexual relationship with a Chinese spy.”

MTG made her comment after Swalwell accused she and fellow Republicans of engaging in “anti-police rhetoric.”
“That was quite entertaining from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy. And everyone knows it!” Rep. Taylor Greene responded to Rep. Swalwell.
The statement set off a brief firestorm, after Democrats demanded the words be stricken from the record. Taylor Greene was later asked if she wished to retract her statement, to which she responded, “No, I will not.”
“Eric Swalwell was removed from the Intelligence Committee because he had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy,” Taylor Greene wrote in a tweet following the exchange. “But he stills makes all kinds of ridiculous accusations every day in Congress about me, my colleagues, and President Trump. We all know it’s true, Eric Swalwell.”
The California congressman was a known target Fang Fang, an alleged Chinese spy who cultivated California politicians until she suddenly fled the county in 2015. Although Swalwell denies any wrongdoing, U.S. Intelligence officials report that Fang Fang, also known as Christine Fang, engaged in sexual and romantic relationships with numerous elected officials.
