By The FirstRep. Chip Roy (R-TX) blasted DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas from the House floor, stressing that ending Title 42 will cause “a deluge at southern border.”
“As we speak, in March, we’ve had 100,000 apprehensions, barreling towards 200,000,” Roy says.
“This is going to cause massive injuries to migrants, cartels empowered, Americans endangered, fentanyl pouring across our border —all because the Secretary refuses to do his job…this is an impeachable act to not defend the border of the United States.
Roy then asks his colleagues to condemn Mayorkas.
