Former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is throwing her hat in the ring for the 2024 Republican Presidential nomination. Haley also served as ambassador to the United Nations during former President Donald Trump’s administration, and becomes the second major candidate to join the race.
Fox News reports:
Multiple sources confirm to Fox News Digital that Haley will formally declare her candidacy for the White House at an event in Charleston, South Carolina, on Feb. 15, with an invitation soon going out to her supporters. News of Haley’s announcement was first reported by the Post and Courier newspaper in South Carolina.
Haley’s decision represents a change of heart. Last April the former governor said she would not run for president if Trump decided to run for a second term.
