Dr. Donald Moss – an author and teacher at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute – published an article in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association titled “On Having Whiteness”.
According to Moss, ““Parasitic Whiteness renders its hosts’ appetites voracious, insatiable, and perverse.” He goes on to say, “the deformed appetites particularly target nonwhite peoples…once established, these appetites are nearly impossible to eliminate.”
And finally, “There is not yet a permanent cure.”
The article was quick to draw fire on social media.
According to the New York Post, “In his bio for the American Psychoanalytic Association, [Moss] said his work from the mid-1980s has been trying to “understand and dismantle structured forms of hatred … racism, homophobia, misogyny and xenophobia.”
