By Matt HowertonGrace Community Church Pastor John MacArthur joined Mike Slater on Monday to share how his church organically came back to life and how law enforcement stood with them in defiance of the California lockdown.
When asked if he feared the repercussions of defying the authorities MacArthur replied, “Whatever the Governor says, he’s not the head of the church, Jesus Christ is the head of the church.”
“Like the apostles, ‘We obey God rather than men,'” he explained. “Once we realized that the death rate was point zero two in California… they just started coming back.”
He also revealed the sizeable fine authorities have now levied on him and his church for violating the lockdown order.
