By The FirstWhite House Press Secretary Jen Psaki was grilled by Fox News’ Peter Doocy Friday over why Joe Biden called states abandoning the mask mandate weeks ago an example of “neanderthal thinking.”
“Did somebody at the Biden administration update this guidance for political reasons? What was the medical or scientific reason? What was the big breakthrough to do this yesterday?” asked Doocy.
“The CDC are constantly reviewing the data… The vaccines stand up to the variants. Vaccinated people are less likely to transmit the virus,” said Psaki.
