According to inside sources familiar with the matter, CNN host of Reliable Sources Brian Stelter will not be at the network much longer; Stelter could be out in weeks if not days.
President of News Cycle Media Jon Nicosia tweeted Thursday, “SOURCE: Stelter is ‘down to weeks if not days’ left at CNN. They go on ‘He is everything that reminds the new owners of the Zucker era they desperately want to get past’ – More to come.”
He added, “They continue: ‘Management is confident Stelter is the one sharing the internal pushback to fellow media reporters while simultaneously stirring discontent within the ranks.’”
Stelter Sunday show Reliable Sources is pulling in just 580,000 viewers —the lowers in the last three years. New CNN CEO Christ Licht has signaled his desire to move away from personality-drive reporting and obvious bias like Stelter and Acosta.
Could this be the end of Tater?
