Despite the fact that Senator Raphael Warnock defeated his Republican opponent Herschel Walker yesterday’s run-off election in Georgia, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre is accusing Republicans of engaging in voter suppression in the Peach State.
“What I can say — and not got going to get into specifics of the question, but what you guys, you all reported this, that there was suppression, that — that we saw that throughout — throughout the Georgia election,” Jean-Pierre told reporters during todays White House Press briefing.
Despite Jean-Pierre’s claims, Georgia voters set an all-time midterm early turnout record this year, with more than 2.5 million people voting ahead of election day.
