Legendary KISS guitarist Paul Stanley is pushing back against the idea of transitioning America’s children. In a statement released on Twitter, the 71-year-old calls on parents to stop pushing their children into “a sad and dangerous fad.”
“There is a BIG difference between teaching acceptance and normalizing and even encouraging participation in a lifestyle that confuses young children into questioning their sexual identification,” the 71-year-old rocker wrote. Stanley went on to add that although children may like to experiment by dressing up in different clothes, these activities are largely innocent, and should not be misconstrued by parents as being evidence of transgenderism.
“With many children who have no real sense of sexuality or experience caught up in the ‘fun’ of using pronouns and saying what they identify as, some adults mistakenly confuse teaching acceptance with normalizing and encouraging a situation that has been a struggle for those truly affected and have turned it into a sad and dangerous fad,” Stanley concluded.
