By The FirstPresident Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden welcomed a crowd of nearly 30,000 of for the White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday —and, as is the Biden family tradition, it wasn’t without a few gaffes and awkward moments.
“The first Easter Egg Roll, this year themed ‘EGGucation,’ was hosted in 1878. An estimated 30,000 guests, including thousands of military families, are expected to take part in the festivities on Monday, from an Easter egg hunt to a farm ‘field trip.’ Special guests range from The Tonight Show on NBC’s Jimmy Fallon and Grammy-winning singer Ciara to Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster,” the Washington Examiner reports.
During the event, the First Lady protected Joe on several occasions —including one instance where she had to remind him to wave. Watch the clip below:
