By The FirstWhite House Press Secretary Jen Psaki continued to spin April’s disastrous economic figures this week; telling reporters that stagnant job growth and high inflation are somehow signs of an economic recovery.
“Obviously we’ve seen some reaction to the new numbers. Our view on that is it reflects the reality of an economy that’s rapidly turning back on because of a successful economic strategy. There’s a number of factors here that can be explained and we’re working to address that,” said Psaki.
“Hopefully that will give some comfort to the American people,” she added.
