By The FirstA senior White House economic advisor stunned experts this week when she claimed $6 trillion in new spending is simply an “investment” and “smart economic policy.”
“Is it possible that the message is a little tone deaf? Americans are feeling poorer,” said one reporter.
“The President is focused on inflation! Build Back Better is a long-run investment!” said economic advisor Cecilia Rouse. “It includes investments to transition to clean energy. It’s an investment! That’s smart economic policy.”
