By The FirstA Polk County Sheriff in Florida offered some warm words and some honest advice to thousands of new residents arriving in the Sunshine State daily: “don’t vote the way you did up north.”
“This is the Florida we know and love. We’re a special place. There are millions of people who like to come here. Frankly, we like to have them here,” said the Sheriff.
“Welcome to Florida. But don’t register to vote and vote the stupid way you did up north; you’ll get what they got,” he concluded.
