By The FirstFBI Director Christopher Wray tried to flee DC Thursday after being grilled on Capitol Hill; telling lawmakers he had to leave to catch a flight despite having his own plane.
“We just heard a little while ago that you have to leave… Is there any reason we can’t accommodate the panel for 20 minutes?” asked Grassley.
“Senator, I have a flight that I’m supposed to take,” said Wray.
“You’ve got your own plane. Can’t it wait awhile?” pressed Grassley.
