Former President Donald Trump pulled-the-plug on his own webpage Wednesday just weeks after launching the platform, with top aides confirming the site “will not be returning.”
“It was just auxiliary to the broader efforts we have and are working on,” his senior aide Jason Miller told CNBC.
“Hoping to have more information on the broader efforts soon, but I do not have a precise awareness of timing,” Miller said.
Donald Trump was removed from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other platforms shortly after the January 6th riots at the US Capitol, an act many social media corporations claim he incited at a White House protest over the 2020 election results.
