By The FirstFlorida Governor Ron DeSantis says he’s not playing games with the Democratic Party —a party that has “elevated anti-semites to the halls of Congress like Ilhan Omar.” DeSantis’ remarks came in response to Dems demanding the governor weigh in on Neo-Nazi protests in Central Florida.
“On Sunday, a video of what appears to be around eight neo-nazis in the Orlando area appeared online. In response, Democrats immediately started demanding that DeSantis condemn them as if he had something to do with the demonstration,” Red State reports.
The governor responded, calling the protestors “jack-assess” —but insists he’s not taking the bait from Democratic opponents. A local reporter for WFLA shared DeSantis’ response on Twitter:
