By The FirstDemocratic Congresswoman Katie Porter spoke with climate activist Greta Thunberg this week; telling the teenager her daughter thinks “the earth is on fire and we’re all going to die soon.”
“I have a 9-year-old daughter. I told her I was going to be speaking with you. I asked what she thought about climate change. She said, ‘the Earth is on fire and we’re all going to die soon,’” said the Representative.
“What should I tell my daughter, how should I help her and the youngest generation deal with the emotional toll?” she asked.
