By Matt HowertonJesse Kelly was joined Wednesday by Congressman Mike Kelly (R-PA) to break down his bill to help aid health care workers by fixing a provision in the CARES Act that was passed earlier this year.
Rep. Kelly told Jesse that health care workers are currently exempted from paid leave safeguards that afforded to other Americans in case they, or a family member, get sick with covid-19.
The second part of the Congressman’s bill provides protections from frivolous lawsuits related to the coronavirus pandemic, he explained.
