Anheuser-Busch has chosen trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney as the newest spokesperson for its Bud Light brand, unveiling a pair of videos starring the influencer on Instagram. Mulvaney is a biological man who identifies as a woman and the publicity stunt is being done in honor the activist’s first full year of being a “woman.”
“This isn’t a parody,” wrote Ian Miles Cheong upon seeing the videos. “Dylan Mulvaney is now the face of Bud Light.”
“This month I celebrated my day 365 of womanhood, and Bud Light sent me possibly the best gift ever — a can with my face on it,” Mulvaney says in one video.
The top of the can reads “Cheers to 365 days of being a woman.”
This is just the latest corporate sponsorship for the trans activist. Mulvaney’s other high profile corporate partnerships include Crest, Mac Cosmetics, and Tampax.
