BILL MAHER: Voters See Trump as ‘The One Thing’ Standing Between Them and ‘Crazy’ Policies

Comedian Bill Maher defended Donald Trump supporters on MSNBC this week, telling host Ari Melber that many Americans view the former president as the “one thing standing between them and crazy.”

“They see Trump as the one thing standing between them and crazy. And there’s a lot of crazy on the left,” explained Maher.

“Half the country is looking to Donald Trump as some sort of savior. It’s not what we think, but people are not self-deporting. Half the country isn’t going away,” he added.
