By The FirstFox News host Tucker Carlson tried to persuade Senator Chuck Schumer (D-NY) to appear on his show to discuss the accusation that the network promotes “replacement theory.” The Senator from New York declined the invitation, saying Carlson needs to stop promoting racism.
“.@TuckerCarlson invited me on his show tonight to debate the letter I sent to @FoxNews. I’m declining,” Schumer wrote on Twitter. “Tucker Carlson needs to stop promoting the racist, dangerous ‘Replacement Theory.'”
Schumer also sent a letter to Fox New, demanding they “immediately cease all dissemination of false white nationalist, far-right conspiracy theories on your network.”
“Chuck Schumer is a federal official…and he’s calling for media censorship,” Carlson said on his show Tuesday night. “Because he is a coward, this is the only media appearance probably in history he has turned down,” Carlson added.
