By The FirstProgressive lawmaker Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez confused millions of Americans Tuesday when she bizarrely asserted that “trampling of indigenous rights” and “trampling of racial justice” is the cause of climate change.
“The climate crisis is a crisis born of injustice. A crisis born at the pursuit of profit… The trampling of indigenous rights is a cause of climate change. The trampling of racial justice is a cause of climate change,” said the far-left legislator.
“We’re allowing folks to deny ourselves human rights, the right to health care, the right to housing and education,” she added.
