Yep, last night was crazy. No doubt about it. There were more than a few surprises along the way for everyone involved.
And now, the morning after, we still have counting going on. In Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin ballots are still being tallied and President Trump is seeing his lead narrow by the moment.
But this is not surprising. Not for those of us who have been paying attention.
The question was asked on Twitter last night: If Ohio and Florida and just about every other state in the country can count their votes in a timely manner, why can’t these three?
The answer is, they can. They’ve simply chosen not to.
Are they steeling the election? Many have said so. Many have predicted it. But I’m not going to say that … yet.
What I am saying is that the fact that these three states have Democratic governors and that the chaos in their ballot counting is directly benefitting the Democratic nominee for president is a reality we can’t ignore. That needs to considered a sign of corruption, or incomitance. You pick.
In the mean time, all we can do at this point is wait.
